Hilco is pleased to offer for sale the business and assets of an established independent Montessori nursery school which operates from two leasehold premises in Central London locations. The school offers significant growth prospects either as a standalone business or as part of a larger organisation.

The Business:

  • Well established Montessori nursery school operating from two leasehold premises in affluent Central London locations
  • Registered for a total of 145 pupils across the two settings
  • 84 pupils on roll catering to ages from 0-5 years old
  • Currently operating with 28 employees
  • Two fully equipped leasehold premises extending to approx. 2,500 sq ft and 4,000 sq ft respectively (GIA)
  • Fee income in 2019 (pre-Covid) of c.£1.5m, with opportunity to increase fee income to similar levels and provide greater profitability
  • Turnover for year ended 30th June 2024 c.£1.28m, with T/O of c.£1.45m for 2023

Business Assets:

Fully Fitted Leasehold Premises – the two leasehold premises, held on separate leases with 7-16 years unexpired terms, fitted to a high standard with Montessori/nursery furniture and equipment.

Existing Contracts – the current income producing contracts for pupils.

Intellectual Property – the established brand and associated intellectual property.

Goodwill – the goodwill attaching to the business.
