Removal

  • Removal Deadline: Friday 20 December 2024, 4:00pm local time
  • Removal Hours: Tuesday 3 December –  Friday 20 December 2024, 9:00am  4:00pm local time, (excluding weekends).
  • Collection is only permitted once a paid in full invoice has been received
  • The Buyer and or their removal contractor must supply their own lifting equipment Method statements and risk assessments, copies of all relevant insurances documents and operator licenses must be supplied and approved ahead of any item being dismantled or moved in accordance with Health & Safety policies. Site attendance for the duration of the removal process to be confirmed and agreed in advance
  • Anyone attending site will be required to wear the relevant PPE workwear including Hi-Viz Vest/Jacket and Safety Footwear.

Terms & Conditions

  • Buyer`s Premium of 18% will be applicable to this sale
  • VAT at 5% will be added to the total price and Buyer’s Premium. Purchasers from overseas should note that the VAT on the Buyer’s Premium is not recoverable
  • All payments must be cleared in our account by the date stated on the invoice
  • All Lots must be collected by Friday 20 December 2024, 4:00pm local time
  • All persons arriving on site must report to the entrance and complete the signing in procedure book
  • This site is a full PPE area and everyone must comply whilst the site is designated as such. PPE worn must comply with all relevant Method Statements. Anyone not found wearing his/her PPE will be required to leave the site, if in doubt assistance must be sought from the site Supervisor

  • Additional Terms & Conditions:
    • Assets to be released upon receipt of payment
    • Title to and risk of loss or damage to the Assets shall pass to the Purchaser upon full payment of the purchase price
    • The Purchaser shall indemnify and hold harmless the Seller from any damages, claims, losses, or liabilities arising out of or related to the Purchaser’s dismantling and taking delivery of the Assets from the Seller’s premises
    • All equipment, as part of the Assets and their accessories and associated ancillaries will be professionally dismantled & removed from the site
    • The Purchaser shall ensure that the Seller’s premises are properly cleaned, and any damages caused during the dismantling and delivery of the Assets are restored to their original condition
    • The Assets are sold on an “as is” basis. The Seller makes no representations or warranties of any kind, express or implied, regarding the condition, functionality, or any other aspect of the Assets
    • There is no warranty, defects liability period, or guarantee of any kind related to the Assets
    • If the Purchaser fails to take delivery of the Assets beyond seven (7) months from the effective Date, the Seller reserves the right to resell the Assets left behind to any other party and forfeit any payments received from the Purchaser
    • Any intellectual property belonging to the Seller that may be left on the Assets, including any recipes or formulas, shall be removed by the Seller prior to delivery. The Purchaser shall not have any rights to such intellectual property
    • This Agreement shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of United Arab Emirates, without regard to its conflict of laws principles. Any disputes arising out of or in connection with this Agreement shall be resolved through the courts of Abu Dhabi, having exclusive jurisdiction over any disputes arising out of this Agreement
    • Liability towards Hilco to be limited to GBP 6,000
